HTL 093: Keep Trying: How to persevere while on the long and winding road, with Jeff Gargas

How do you keep trying when the road has so many turns and you seem to be failing?

If you would like a little more support about this topic, listen to last week’s show, Episode 92, Can Failure Be a Good Thing?

It is possible to get on track quicker, and Joe Elliott of the Purpose Project can help. Listen to his interview in Episode 60, How To Discover Your Path and Live Life on Purpose. That’s a good one.

And Episode 88, How to Get Unstuck in Life is a nice compliment to this theme.

Keep Trying

Last week’s show was about how to fail successfully, meaning that failure often leads to success.

It is just a learning experience. You don’t really know that until some time has passed and you look back and realized that you are where you are because of those past failures and experiences.

It often makes you wiser, more resilient, and humble.  These are all good things.

Today we are continuing on along the same vein.

This podcast episode is for anyone who is taking the long and winding road through life. It doesn’t mean you are lost or will wander forever.

I am speaking with Jeff Gargas who is the successful COO of the Teach Better Team which supports and helps teachers increase student engagement and success.

It took him some time to get there.

This talk is about his journey, but it also about searching, wandering, and yes, failing. It is about reflecting on the experiences in your life, finding meaning in them, and discovering the common denominator behind them.

It was through his own experiences that Jeff discovered the common theme; he enjoyed helping others. That was his purpose and he turned that purpose into a very successful business.

If you are wandering or feel lost right now, you will be happy to know that nothing is random and you ARE on your way.

Guess what? I have even more great interviews! CLICK HERE TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE HOW TO LIFE PODCAST
