The Importance of Rest
In this episode, I would like to share my insight on the importance of rest, sleep, and taking breaks throughout the day.
I have come to this knowledge from my own experience in my own life and seeing how it affects others. As a chiropractor, I have seen so many people who have physical problems because of too much stress. NOT enough rest. The body just breaks down.
Why do so many try to push through fatigue? Why are you ignoring the signs?
Some of the reasons are the belief that if you aren’t killing yourself you don’t “want it” enough, you will be seen as lazy or weak, resting or napping is irresponsible, or everything will come crashing down if you aren’t there to do it all!
In this podcast, I make a case for the necessity of shutting down for even a few minutes. I highlight all the very real and sound reasons for resting, pausing, and sleeping.
In fact, there is NO case for NOT doing it!
My hope is that you will have gained a new perspective after listening to this show. Resting is not lazy, it is leadership!
