Effective Goal-Setting for ADHD
Today is a topic that probably everyone can relate to.
How many of us procrastinate? How many suffer watching the minutes pass by until the “zero hour” is upon us before we snap into action? And how many, after getting away with it, swear we will never put ourselves in that position again, but yet we do?
It is such an uncomfortable and demoralizing loop. Isn’t it?
But good news; there are skills and tools you can learn to help yourself end this unpleasant roller coaster ride.
Diann Wingert is my guest today and she is a psychotherapist by training, a coach by choice, and an ADHD-fueled entrepreneur! She helps others who have big dreams but who struggle with focus, direction & sticking with a goal all the way to the finish line. She specializes in women with ADHD and has ADHD herself.
Dian will definitely help you if you have ADHD or think you might.
This will also help if you are beating up on yourself for not being organized and focused.
You are not broken, or lazy, or irresponsible, or less-than in ANY way. You just need some mentoring and tools.
Diann has learned, and now teaches others how to tame distractions, find their focus, and finish what they start.
The tools and techniques she is about to speak of apply to everyone who has trouble following something through to completion whether you have ADHD or not!
If you resonated with some of the things discussed in this podcast, I recommend these other episodes to give you even more insight!
