HTL 077: How Writing Can Help You Problem-Solve and Break Through Personal Walls, with Treasa Edmond

Today’s topic is about how to work through a problem you are having or break through your personal walls by writing.

It is sometimes nice to talk to others or seek outside help, but one of the best ways to help yourself is to write it out. Talk to yourself and listen to what you have to say.

Wait! Before you say, I don’t know how to do that, or I don’t like writing, or I am not a good writer, I have an answer to that. Well, my guest today does.

Treasa Edmond is a ghostwriter and a writing coach and she is here today to tell you many of the benefits writing can bring to your life.

Even if you are not a wordsmith or a poet, if you can speak then you can express yourself, problem-solve, overcome obstacles, and manifest your dreams by writing it all down.

It is so much easier to look at what is going on in your life when you get it out of your head and put it on paper. Treasa will tell you how easy it really is.

I have some other podcast episodes which use writing as a way to help you out of a funk. Check these out:

Episode 2: The Benefits of Keeping a Gratitude List. Here is a case for looking for the good in order to feel great.

Episode 4: What To Do When You Don’t Know What to Do. Write yourself a letter and ask yourself what YOU think.
