HTL 038: What To Do When It All Falls Apart- surrendering, self-discovery, and how to be open to the new adventure that awaits you, with Colin Clapp

As you all know, we don’t always get our way. Sometimes, things just do not turn out as we planned and that can be very frustrating and disappointing.

With that said, I don’t want you to think that you can’t have what you want. You can. You may need to tweek it a bit, revamp it, or keep at it until you get there.

Or you can let go, be still, and just BE for a little bit and see what shows up for you.

Today, I am speaking to Colin Clapp, who together with his partner Elly and their two young daughters, did just that when it all fell apart for them, and now have now become a full-time, location-independent, world schooling family committed to inspiring others to live life without regrets.

If you found this episode and it resonates, it’s not an accident. You are going to really enjoy, and possibly relate, as Colin talks about how self-discovery and surrendering have led to a pretty wonderful journey that he never imagined!

About Colin Clapp

First and foremost, he’s a proud and supportive Dad and partner. (And a hugger!)

Colin Clapp

A heart-centered entrepreneur, his purpose in life is “Success & Significance through a philosophy of “Give. Take. Invest. Enjoy.” His mission is to make people think; to question things and not accept the status quo.

Originally from the UK, he’s the one who sways between the big picture and the fine detail and sometimes misses the happy medium in between!

Loves snow-sports, mountain biking and the BBC Sport website!

In 2016, the family was becoming increasingly unsettled with their life in New Zealand after a downward spiral with businesses rapidly ate away at everything they had.

Now, with his partner Elly and their two daughters, they now consider themselves ‘global citizens’, slowly but steadily building a new life as “freedompreneurs” and a digital nomad family.
