Today I am interviewing Ray Blakney, who has a language school called Live Lingua and also hosts a podcast of the same name. He is fluent in several languages and has traveled extensively his entire life.
We are going to talk about how great traveling is! Who misses it? I do! I can’t wait to get back out there!
I love traveling and I have no fear about it.
But there are some who are a little wary, and Ray is here to talk you down. He is going to address all the reasons someone might give to not travel, give you a counter point about those myths, and I think in the end it will encourage you to give it a second thought.
He is going to dispel fear, offer some great tips to get great fares and rooms, and really inspire you to get the education that only world travel can give you.
I hope that at the end of this podcast you will be feeling like, yeah, this sounds so fun and I am glad that there really is NOTHING to worry about.
So, all aboard, put your seat-backs and trays in their upright, locked position, and let’s go!

About Ray Blakney
Ray Blakney is probably like every other award-winning Filipino-American
entrepreneur who grew up in Turkey and lives in Mexico that you know.
He started his first business, with his wife as a business partner, in 2008.
Since then he has bootstrapped multiple 6 and 7-figure online businesses.
Most of this was done from home in his superman pajamas.
He and his businesses have been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur Magazine, The Boston Globe and other top publications. Ray has also been a speaker at multiple conferences around the world.
Some of his businesses include Live Lingua (one of the top online language schools), Twiducate (a social network for schools with over 200k registered users, and Podcast Hawk (a SAAS product that helps you get booked on podcasts on auto-pilot).
He is also host of one of the top language learning podcasts on iTunes Learn Spanish with Live Lingua releasing a new episode daily.
When he is not perusing another wild business idea, he likes to spend time with his wife, son and dog at their house in Querétaro, Mexico and helping other entrepreneurs create location independent online businesses.
He only leaves his house to speak at conferences and go to his dojo and to get hit over the head, repeatedly, with a bamboo sword (kendo).
