HTL 090: How To Build a Habit, with Rotem Brayer

How To Build a Habit

This has been the month of personal betterment on this show. I didn’t plan it, but I like the way it has unfolded.

We started off the year by talking about goal setting

But how can you set a goal if you feel confused? So the next week we talked about how to get unstuck in life.

That was good! We set a goal, we got out of the mud, now to declutter and focus. Last week we learned how to optimize productivity

What do we need to do to make it all stick? Repetition! And in this episode, we are going to discuss what creates a habit. It is not random.

The process of forming a habit, good or bad, is the same.

It is easy to understand why bad habits are so hard to break when you know how they are formed in the first place.  This process is also why good habits are hard to create.

Today, I am speaking with psychotherapist, Rotem Brayer, about the science behind a habit and the ways to build a new one.

You CAN break out of an old pattern and create a new habit that brings positivity to your life. The power is within you.

I am really happy to be able to share information and knowledge to help you be the best you can be in your journey through life.
