Mominar 054: It is So EASY to Fix a Running Toilet

Your toilet should NOT make any sound after it has been flushed and the tank refilled with water.

But sometimes it will continue to RUN. The most obvious sound is that after you flush, the sound of the water filling the tank never stops.

Or it will fill and stop. Fill and stop repeatedly.

You will hear the sound of water trickling then stopping.

There is also the ghost flush. The toilet will flush itself.

Or if you are good at tuning things out, you might just notice rippling water in the bowl.

All of these things mean that the flapper valve inside the tank is no longer creating a tight seal and holding the water in.

This is the thing that acts like a lid over the drain to let water in and out of the toilet bowl and tank when flushed.

The good news is that it is super easy and super cheap to fix this problem.

This Mominar shows you how!
